微妙な色合いのワケ
This picture is an example of glass beads sold in our shop. There are many kinds of colors, and beads with slightly different colors are lined up in a row. Some may think that these delicate shades are intentionally created by skilled craftsmen, but that is not the case. Since small bead workshops in Asia are handmade with the materials available at that time, it is difficult to reproduce the colors, and it often happens that the colors are different each time they are produced. This is true not only for color, but also for size and design. This lack of reproducibility continues to create new varieties, and we have a wide selection of products, so it's not a bad thing.
In addition to the lack of reproducibility, the inconsistency is also a major feature of Asian beads. Because it is handmade, the color and size will vary from grain to grain. However, this variation adds to the taste and depth of the beads, giving Asian beads an appeal not found in machine-produced beads. Our beads are by no means "beautiful" and "aligned", but we hope you enjoy them as a manifestation of the generosity of Asian countries.
