Important Notes Regarding Custom Orders

Below is a summary of important information regarding custom orders that we kindly ask you to review in advance.

Our beads are handmade in Asian and African countries, and the production environment differs significantly from that of manufacturers in Japan.

We would appreciate it if you could read the following information carefully and take it into consideration before submitting your inquiry.

1.　Product Specifications and Variations

・The actual bead size may be slight different from the size specified.

・Variations in size and shape occur even within one production lot (a quantity produced in a single production run).

・If a different production lot is used (for example, for reorders), differences may occur in size, shape, and color compared to previous production.

・If you provide samples or images as references, we will try to make the product as close as possible. However, we cannot make a completely identical item.

・When samples are made, there may be slight differences between the sample and the final mass-produced products.

・Colors are adjusted using materials available at the factory. Color confirmation is done using monitors, so colors may look different depending on your screen and environment. For these reasons, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed.

・When natural materials are used, color variations may occur.

2.　Defective Items and Shortages

・If you find defective items after receiving the products, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and let us know the details and quantity.

・If there are defects or missing items, we will send replacements. If replacements are not available, we will issue a refund.。

3.　Delivery Schedule

・There are many factors beyond our control from production to transportation. The actual delivery date may exceed the estimated delivery date provided by us at the time of contract.

・Cancellation due to delivery delays is not acceptable.

・We are not responsible for any consequential damages caused by delivery delays.

4.　Order Cancellation

・ As production at the manufacturer will start immediately after order placing, cancellation is not possible.

5.　Sample Making

・If the manufacturer supports sample production and you request it, the fee is JPY 3,300 per design, per color, per attempt.

・When sample images are received from the manufacturer, we will first review them. If they do not meet the requirements, we will request revisions from the manufacturer.

・Once we determine that the sample meets the requirements or that no further improvement can reasonably be expected, the sample images will be sent to the customer by email.　This entire process constitutes one “sample production attempt.”

・The required time depends on the manufacturer’s schedule and cannot be fixed. Usually, it takes about 7–10 days.

・Physical samples can also be shipped for an additional shipping fee.

・The sample is valid for two weeks, starting from the later date of either: the date sample images are sent, or the date the physical sample is shipped from our store.

6.　Handling of Ordered Products and Designs

・The beads and charms we sell are general decorative materials. Normally, they are not protected by design rights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. This is a common assumption for bead products sold worldwide.

Therefore, we and our manufacturers treat ordered products as items without intellectual property protection.

・If any intellectual property rights apply, or may apply in the future, to your product design or reference materials, please inform us before sending images or documents.

・If there is suspicion that intellectual property rights may be involved, we may refuse the order or ask to confirm the rights.

・We may produce more items than your ordered quantity and sell them through our store.

・We may freely produce and sell products with the same specifications as your order, without limitation on timing or quantity, and with sales conditions, including pricing, set at our discretion.

7.　Agreement to These Terms

・By placing an order, you are considered to have agreed to all of the above terms.
